Products Creation for Destination of South Slovácko

This thesis is dealing with problems of creating products in the tourist destination South Slovácko. In the introductory part there are described theoretical solutions of thesis, first of all essence of the management and marketing of destination, touristic products and product creation. In the second part there are realized analysis, which are focused on evaluate of current destination condition, including analysis of touristic demand and comparison with the biggest competitors. Closing part is dealing with the design of the products, which should make touristic destinations more attractive.
Wine tourism in Turkey

Exploring wine tourism in Turkey and the Czech Republic is crucial to understanding how it affects tourism and the economy of these countries. The objective of this thesis is to analyze and compare the development, challenges, and potential of wine tourism in Turkey and the Czech Republic, employing both theoretical insights and practical strategies. This research employed a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative data. Qualitative data was gathered through in-depth interviews with Turkish wine producers (n = 5) and Czech expert. Quantitative data was collected via online questionnaire (n = 105). Comprehensive literature review helped to explore the current landscape of wine tourism in both countries. The study examined wine tourism in Turkey and the Czech Republic, emphasizing the collaboration between researchers and industry. It underscored the importance of preserving culture, adopting sustainable practices, and creating unique experiences to position these countries as premier destinations for wine enthusiasts globally.

Píšťková, H. Importance of the event for the service providers in the tourism destination Slovácko. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2023. The main goal of this thesis is to identify impacts of event Slovácké slavnosti vína a otevřených památek on service providers in the tourism destination Slovácko and to propose measures leading to support positive and eliminate negative impacts of the event in the tourism destination. First part contains theoretical ba-sis, which are necessary to understand the theme of the bachelor thesis. In the result part can be found topics from the theoretical basis but focused on the spe-cific problematic of the thesis. To reach the goal, the answers from the survey and a deep interview were used. Based on these answers, thesis includes proposals and recommendations for better conditions not only for the service providers, but also for the visitors of the destination.
Rozvoj cestovního ruchu v turistické oblasti Podhostýnsko

The bachelor thesis is focused on the development of tourism in the tourist area of Podhostýnsko. In the first part of the thesis a literature search is prepared, which describes and explains all the concepts related to the issue. The analytical part then focuses on the description of the Podhostýnsko region and the analysis of the external and internal environment. The work also includes a questionnaire survey focused on the motivation and satisfaction of visitors in the area. In addition, interviews with accommodation establishments about tourists are obtained. Based on the findings on the current state of tourism, a proposal for its improvement was developed.
Analysis and effectiveness of Dubai City marketing strategy in the years 2010-2020

This bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis and effectiveness of Dubai's marketing strategy during the years 2010-2020. The theoretical part introduces key concepts related to marketing and destinations, including the definition of marketing and destination, destination management principles, marketing mix and communication mix. The descriptive part of the thesis describes the development of Dubai as a tourist destination and identifies the factors that have contributed to its success. The practical part includes a comparative analysis of marketing activities in the periods 2010-2015 and 2016-2020, supported by a questionnaire survey. Based on the analysis, communication recommendations are then proposed.
Comparison of the management plan of Protected landscape area Bohemian Paradise and the development strategy of the Bohemian Paradise Geopark in terms of approach to nature and landscape protection

The thesis is focused on the topic of nature conservation in relation to tourism and its impacts in the region of the Bohemian Paradise Protected Landscape Area. The thesis examines the relationship between the Bohemian Paradise Protected Landscape Area and the Bohemian Paradise Geopark and their mutual cooperation in dealing with topics of tourism and its impacts. The method of case study and data triangulation is used for the research. The theoretical basis for the study is document analysis, including a comparison of strategic documents such as the management plan of Protected Landscape Area and the development strategy of Geopark. Findings from semi-structured interviews with tourism and nature conservation professionals are complemented by data on visitor numbers to the area, results from a survey of local residents' perceptions of tourism, and insights gained from field observations. The main contribution of the thesis is to provide a comprehensive view of the situation in the region of Bohemian Paradise, including a detailed description of the impacts of tourism and outlining possible solutions to excessive visitor numbers. Problems of financing tourism development in selected destination

The aim of the thesis is to analyze the current state of financing the development of tourism in the Czech Canada destination, which is located in South Bohemia. The aim of the research is to find new possibilities for financing tourism in the tourist area. Detailed terms are defined here - tourism, destination and destination management, followed by a description of the management tourism and organization in Czech republic and a description of the selected tourist area. The main theme of my diploma thesis is to evaluate the possibilities of the tourism financing. My work deals with financial sources which flow to the development of tourism in Czech Canada. Based on the analysis there are other possible ways of the tourism cooperation and funding suggested.
Strategie rozvoje kongresového a veletržního cestovního ruchu v Brně

SAVIĆOVÁ, S. Strategy of Congress and Trade Fair Tourism Development in Brno. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno. 2015. The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyze actual state of congress and fair tourism in Brno and to recomend strategic alternatives. For finding the results there was used secondary data and qualitative research which consisted of questionnaires with three key groups of respondents. The current organizers of congress and conferences in Brno, the congress hotels and the organizers, who made or used to make an event in Brno in the past, but then have changed the location for their event. The thesis is divided into theoretical part, methodology of the research, the analysis of the current state and strategic alternatives recommendation. The result shows that the main weaknesses of the city are: bad transport to the city, an absence of relationship between the city and the event organizers, lack of conference buildings, not enough of flights coming to Brno, low international awareness about Brno, insufficient modern Brno´s traid fair pavilions and high temperature in the center of the city during summer. For these problems were strategic alternatives made. In discussion, the last chapter, the results will be discussed and the improvement recommendations suggested.
Overtouristed! Overtourism in large-size specially protected areas of the Czech republic

The Master thesis' central theme is the phenomenon of Overtourism. It compares its status in three large-size specially protected areas: The Krkonoše Mountains National Park, Bohemian Paradise Protected Landscape Area and Třeboň Basin Protected Landscape Area. Based on interviews with representatives of the protected areas administrations and with tourists, the thesis aims to describe and analyze central conflicts of a nature- based active lifestyle and nature protection, as well as to identify the impacts of increasing tourism on the fragile ecosystems of the protected areas. Increased attention is given to the differences between pre-pandemic and pandemic situation. The empirical research combines several methods: semi-structured interviews with both sides of the conflict, participant observation in the field and the analysis of materials such as relevant legislation and regulations of tourism. This thesis hopes to contribute to the state of knowledge by its thorough description of the issue in the three analyzed areas; and by creating a typology of tourists coming to the protected areas which could be applied in future tourism management. Based on its conclusions, the thesis also drafts measures for future tourism management of given areas designed to mitigate the conflict situation.
Wine Tourism Sustainable Development in South Moravia

Tourism, a current phenomenon, dynamically develops. Demands of visitors on a comprehensive destination product are increasing thanks to an increasing amount of spendable financial resources and rising fund of free time. In this context not only the competition among destinations but also the pressure to the destination potential are growing. Soft tourism forms emerged in an effort to minimize negative impacts of tourism activities on the region as well as to maintain modern regional life standards and to enable its further development. Thanks to their substance, the soft tourism forms are often count among components of sustainable development. Nevertheless, the soft tourism forms are based on the unique destination potential, its atmosphere and natural environment more than the traditional ones. Therefore also their activities must be developed sustainably and at least with the same intensity as the other forms. The issues of the implementation of sustainable development elements into the wine tourism activities in South Moravian destination are discussed in the thesis on the background of strategic documents, proclamations and studies of more experienced foreign wine tourism destinations.
